The memoirs of Captain Charles Ryder who is stationed at Brideshead Castle during WWII and remembers his involvement with the owners of the Brideshead estate: the aristocratic yet Catholic Flyte family and in particular brother and sister Sebastian and Julia.
The Good : A hint of WW2 action scenes may make this Drama watchable as your girlfriend sobs in your lap. The set design and production is top notch, the period is done to perfection.
The Bad : Brideshead Revisited is really similar to Atonement, which I quite enjoyed. Unfortunately, there is no Keira Knightly to put the sexy in a movie that is craving for sexyness.
