Ready for another Friday the 13th? It was announced today that production has started on the next movie for Jason Voorhees, to be released in 2009.

The Plot : Looking to reopen a camp for special need kids a group of councilors encounter a snag in their plans when an unknown person begins to pick them off one by one. Guess they’ll never stop making sequels to this franchise…

Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins

Well this is sort of exciting news. Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins is being leaked out of a few resources today. Apparently Christian Bale is the new John Connor and will battle the Terminators!

After the drastic effects of Terminator 3, the story continues as John Connor and soon to be wife Kate Brewster begin the creation of a resistance organization with Earth’s remaining survivors against the army of cyborgs slowly being built up by Skynet. [Read more]

Mark Wahlberg is Max Payne

Not sure if this is good news, or bad news, since Max Payne was one of my favorite pc games of all time, and I’ll probably be disappointed. Mark Wahlberg will star as Max Payne in a live-action adaptation of the video game to be directed by John Moore (Behind Enemy Lines, Flight of the Phoenix, and The Omen). [Read more]

Halo - The Movie

The Scoop : Apparently Halo will be made into a movie in 2009, and Peter Jackson will be in charge. In July, Fox purchased the filming rights after the project was halted in 2006 because finances were cut. It is currently being filmed in New Zealand.
