Hellboy 2 - Release date: July 11, 2008 - The Scoop : The mythical world starts a rebellion against humanity in order to rule the Earth, so Hellboy and his team must save the world from the rebellious creatures. This highly anticiapted sequel features all the orginal cast from hellboy. If you liked the first Hellboy, you’ll love the second one even more. The cgi looks much more improved and the characters come to life even more than the original.

The sequel stars Ron Perlman, Selma Blair and John Hurt and is set to hit theaters July 11th 2008. The movie came very close to being scrapped, when Sony put the rights up for sale since they felt Hellboy wasn’t a profitable franchise for them. Universal felt differently and bought the rights to make the sequel immediately.
