In the Name of the King A Dungeon Siege Tale
A man named Farmer sets out to rescue his kidnapped wife and avenge the death of his son — two acts committed by the Krugs, a race of animal-warriors who are controlled by the evil Gallian. For you video game junkies, this movie is based on Dungeon Siege {2002}. Theough the official synopsis will have you belive the movie is “Lord of the Rings” meets “Braveheart” … we don’t have that high of expectations. Burt Reynolds has ruined too many movies lately, lets see if his streak continues when he plays the ruling King Konreid..
Forget the plot for a minute, Leelee Sobieski {Joan of Arc / The Glass House } and Claire Forlani {CSI NY} are going to be showing off some skin in this upcoming movie. I love Leelee, she’s sexy, she deserves a chance at starring in a big movie now that she’s filled out.
First Impressions : The movie looks really low budget, even though they had 60 million dollars to play with. Liotta looks like he belongs in a remake of “Grease”, with his silly leather outfit. Brightlight Pictures has to put a little more effort into an official site, it looks like the introduction to a low budget porno. The trailer should be out within the month, that should help make a guess on the quality of effects etc.
