What a strange adventure for this upcoming movie. It was released in June 2007 (CineVegas International Film Festival) and on 17 June 2007 (Maui Film Festival). However, its only hitting theaters Feb 2008. So I suppose this is considered an upcoming movie still, since not many have seen it.
Penelope {Christina Ricci} is a modern day offbeat fable about a young woman who, having spent her life trapped by a family curse sets out to find love and discover her true self.
Ricci is born with the face of a pig {An actual pig….} She needs to have the love of higha society man to break the curse… When she’s discovered in society, attention turns for better, and worse as Penelope struggles to find happiness.
Also Starring : Reese Witherspoon, James McAvoy and Catherine O’Hara.
